RAF base, can attempt to pull the 23,000 Kilo Tornado Jet fighter along the runway at RAF Marham to raise funds for comic relief next Friday 16th March.

Graham Sweet Studios of Cardiff, has agreed to manufacture the giant red nose so that a group of airmen, all wearing their own red noses from the RAF base, can attempt to pull the 23,000 Kilo Tornado Jet fighter along the runway at RAF Marham to raise funds for comic relief next Friday 16th March.

Graham Sweet the proprietor of the Graham Sweet Studios, is used to supplying props and other decorative items for some of Britain's best known retailers, television and film companies and has even supplied the film makers of the Harry Potter films but he said that this is something really special, and he is extremely proud and honoured to have been asked by the RAF to supply the red nose for their Tornado fighter jet.


He is very grateful for the support from three other local business, T.B.Davies Polystyrene, for donating the Polystyrene, W.J.Gardner, Cardiff for donating the Red paint and C.J.Rees Supplies, who have donated the metal pipe to make the hole for the ball to fit onto the nose of the Tornado Jet fighter, Clarence Hardware have donated the special bolts to fix to the polystyrene for tying the nose to the aircraft.

Graham and his colleagues are looking forward to meeting some of the airmen when they collect the giant red nose in their RAF truck, on Monday 12th march at 1300, from his studio on Western Avenue, Cardiff.

The giant Red Nose is being supplied free of charge and is a great example of five of the City's businesses working in partnership for a very worthy cause. (Comic Relief)

A Cardiff family run business that has been established in the City since 1969 has been asked by RAF Marham in Norfolk, to a make a giant polystyrene red nose measuring a 120 cm to fit on the nose of one of their Tornado fighter jets as part of the RAF camps fundraising for comic relief.
