We made this range of giant glitter baubles for a fashion shoot featured in the Financial Times’ How To Spend It magazine.

The collection included baubles from 600mm to 1200mm in diameter. Their oversized scale created a strong backdrop for the fashion photography, while the silver glitter finish caught the studio lighting and complemented the styling.

Made from lightweight expanded polystyrene, the baubles were practical to handle and position on set despite their size. Decorative silver caps and hanging loops completed the familiar Christmas-bauble shape.

Projects like this show how familiar festive decorations can become dramatic large-scale props. We continue to manufacture Christmas display props and lightweight props for advertising, editorial photography, television and film productions.
