Bespoke Polystyrene Models Props and Displays

At Graham Sweet Studios, we design and manufacture bespoke props at our UK based studios, from concept to 3D reality. We are UK polystyrene specialists, and have been for over 50 years.

Large roll-outs & one-offs

We work with some of the largest retail store chains, design agencies and sign companies, both in the UK and overseas, by providing a professional and knowledgeable service to help bring our client's designs to life. As well as large nationwide roll-outs, we also have the capacity for smaller one-offs.

Finish

We pride ourselves on creating attractive, bespoke display items from our UK based studios. We offer a wide range of finishes and special effects. We will discuss with you the most appropriate finish for your project accounting for budget, where / how the prop is being used, and how many times it will be used.

We work with coatings on the polystyrene such as Idenden, which reinforces the polystyrene without adding too much weight, jesmonite – which creates a hard outer shell with a smooth finish, and a range of other paints, textures and effects.

1200 mm diameter fibreglass spghere - finished high gloss yellow.

Fibre-Glass and more.

As well as polystyrene models, we can also work with fibre-glass props and models, including spheres and baubles. The fibreglass is a longer, more expensive process than polystyrene models, but it can be finished to a high gloss.

Red rose teddy bears at the Shard, London.

Lorella Buizza created two 5ft tall by 3ft wide artificial red rose teddy bears with our bespoke polystyrene bears accompanied by 6 acrylic flower boxes for decoration. The display was positioned on the highest point in the UK on the 72nd floor ‘The view from the Shard’. Learn more
