Large 3D Wooden Letters
MDF and Plywood Letters Made to Order in the UK
In addition to our popular polystyrene letters, we offer a range of large 3D wooden letters manufactured from MDF and plywood.
They are designed and constructed in-house using our hollow wooden construction. This provides considerably more strength than expanded polystyrene while keeping the weight down as much as possible.

Standard or Custom Font and Size
Wooden letters can be produced in our standard Arial Bold or Impact Condensed fonts, in sizes up to 1800 mm high and with enough depth to stand independently.
If you need something more bespoke, we can manufacture your letters in a supplied font, logo or shape and at a custom size. Our team can advise on proportions, thickness and construction.

Stronger Than Polystyrene, but Still Lightweight
Because they are constructed from MDF and plywood, our 3D wooden letters are considerably stronger than their expanded polystyrene counterparts.
Our hollow construction minimises the amount of material used, reducing the overall weight while retaining the strength needed for displays, events, graduations, receptions and repeated use.

Finishes for Wooden Letters
Wooden letters are naturally smooth, so matt emulsion is our most popular and economical finish. Colours can be selected to suit your display or branding.
They can also be finished with glitter, Finerock™ or a range of specialist decorative finishes. Tell us how the letters will be viewed and handled, and we can recommend a suitable option.
Bases and Fixings
Depending on the size of the letters and where they will be used, removable MDF bases can be fitted to make them more stable. This is particularly useful at events, graduations and other spaces where people will be moving nearby.
Very large 3D wooden letters may need additional securing. We can advise on suitable bases, supports and fixings for freestanding, wall-mounted or suspended installations.
